Update!

I got this email today and I think it's a wonderful idea.  Let's show our wounded HERO'S what we think of them.  Pass this on to your friends, and associates.

When doing Christmas cards this year, take one card and send it to this address:

A Recovering American Soldier

Think of how many cards these wonderful people will received that have sacrificed so much.

I forgot to add please pass it on!

Great idea! This is the least we can do to show our appreciation to our troops. Thanks for sharing!

It's a great idea - even though the ACLU tried to stop it a couple of years ago. I have been sending one for three years now. Thanks for the reminder.

Bob, Good point and great program. Folks do not realize the hardships our soldiers endure to lay it all on the line...

Helping you live your American dream...

Bob, please read my blog today.  If you send cards to this address, and addressed to "A Recovering Soldier" they won't go any where.  Use the Red Cross "Holiday Mail for Heros" program.

This email's being going around for years.  USPS will not accept anything addressed to "A Recovering Soldier" or "An american Soldier".  If it does make it through, Walter Reed will not accept it.  Since all mail must be screened, Pitney Bowes has joined with the Red Cross, for 3 years now, for the Holiday Mail for Heros program.  Please check it out.

We are going to send out a few. My wife is bringing up the subject at our kids school. Luckily it is a private christian school, so they can do this type of thing.
